School's Out - Think Books & Outdoor Play | Completely Me

With school ending, it is important to keep your children active during the summer.  Easy things to help with this are organized programming or sports.  Programming can range from camps, specialized activities like music, art, dance, horseback riding, gymnastics, etc.  Sports are good for kids because it keeps them physically active but can also help with teamwork and leadership skills.  It is also a good idea to have children books and activities on hand for when they are home.  Completely Me book series is a great choice.  It helps with discussing tough topics while keeping the reading light and entertaining.  Dr. Justine Green finds physical activity, reading, and thought-provoking discussion to be very beneficial to help with development at any age.
