The most important lesson I learned teaching baby classes.... make everything TASTE-SAFE! Including the chalk and paint. Everything! The babies should be able to explore safely during the class time and the parents or guardians should be able to sit back and enjoy this time together.
Children explore the world around them by using all of their senses. They put everything in their mouths. If anything is intended for babies, make sure it's safe for mouths or "taste-safe"
